JIM KARCHER   G

Jim Karcher was born in Forest, Ohio on May 2, 1914, and attended Forest High School. He went on to play football for Ohio State University and played in the 1936 College All Star Game.

He played professional football as a guard for the Boston Redskins in 1936 and moved with the team to Washington, and played with them until 1939. In 1940 he played with the Columbus Bullies in  the American Football League.

Jim Karcher passed away in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, on August 19, 1997, at age 83.
