Paul "Rip" Collins was born in Danbury, Iowa on October 31, 1907. He graduated from Trinity High School and went on to play football at the University of Pittsburgh from 1931-1932. After college he was a receiver on the Boston Braves/Redskins for four seasons. With the Redskins, he played in 43 games and caught 7 passes for 86 yards. Paul Collins passed away on September 25, 1988, at age 80, in Largo, Florida. |
