TED WRIGHT   HB

Ted Wright was born in Savoy, Texas on November 15, 1913 and attended Sherman High School. He played  college football at North Texas State and was an All-American.

He played professional football with the Boston Redskins in 1934 and 1935 before being traded to the Brooklyn "Football" Dodgers. With the Redskins he ran for 166 yards scored one touchdown. He also completed five passes for 76 yards, threw two interceptions and kicked two extra points.

Ted Wright was inducted into the North Texas State Hall of Fame in 1981 and passed away on December 1, 1983, at age 70.
