WALT CUDZIK   C

Walt Cudzik was born on February 21, 1932 in Chicago, and attended Harrison High School. He then went n to play football at Purdue from 1952-1954.

He was selected in the 18th round of the 1954 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins, where he played linebacker for one game and was released.

In 1960 he signed to play center with the Boston Patriots in the newly formed American Football League and was named second team "All Pro" in his first year.  His last year with the Patriots was in 1963, when he was named team captain. After the season he was traded and finished his pro career with the Buffalo Bills in 1964, who won the AFL championship.

Following his football career, Walt earned a law degree and worked as an attorney until he retired in 2002.

On December 11, 2005, Walt Cudzik passed away at age 73, at his home in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
