THE 1914 "MIRACLE" BRAVES

August 2, 1914 ... No game scheduled ... The Braves did a good business last week at the turnstile.  Each day there was no less than 2000 fans at the games, with 20,000 at Fenway Park yesterday.

In the last 23 games, the Braves have won 19 and lost only 4.  In that stretch, Dick Rudolph has won 7 of the games, Bill James has won 5 and Lefty Tyler has won 4 games.  In 12 of these games, their opponent has scored 2 runs or less.

The Braves have gone from last place and 15 games out of first place to fourth place and only 8 games behind during this run.
