“DIARY OF A WINNER”

WORLD CHAMPS AGAIN

October 10, 1915 ... No game scheduled.  The Red Sox were met at Back Bay station this morning by about 1000 fans who brought a band with them.  The players were met with the familiar strains of "Tessie" as they stepped from the railroad cars and were individually greeted by the crowd.  The Phillies arrived on the same train.

If the predictions for the weather forecast prove correct, there will undoubtedly be the largest crowd ever to see a baseball game in attendance at Braves Field.  In spite of painstaking efforts by President Lannin in the allotment of reservations, a large number of applicants could not be supplied.  In the morning there will be a public sale of unreserved section tickets starting at 9AM.  Pavillion seating will be $1 each.  Seating in the center field bleachers will cost 50 cents.
