August 27, 1946 ... No game scheduled ...The Red Sox and Indians were supposed to play a charity exhibition game in East Douglas, MA but they were rained out.  About 3000 fans waited in the rain for two hours.  Ted Williams, Bobby Doerr and Bob Feller were presented with shotguns.  The other players received suits.  The Sox hope to make up the game on September 26th.
