September 3, 1946 ... No game scheduled ...The Red Sox announced that World Series ticket applications will be accepted starting September 10th.  The third, fourth and fifth games will be played at Fenway Park.  No fans will be allowed to purchase more than two tickets.  There will be no general public sale of box seats.  Grandstand seats are $6 each.

Leon Culberson reported that his leg feels better and will be ready to play in the upcoming Washington series.
