August 10, 1967 ... No game scheduled ...Sox pitching coach, Sal Maglie, still thinks he could pitch if he had to get only one batter out. Put a Dodger uniform at the plate and he thinks he could last an inning.

Governor Volpe, this week, will weigh the proposal for the new stadium in the Needham-Dedham area.  If the group can convince the governor that they have the proper financing, then it will look good. Volpe plans on having Turnpike Authority chief, John Driscoll, take a hard look at the proposal.
