“DIARY OF A WINNER”

TONY CONIGLIARO

THE CURSE OF THE BAMBINO, PART 6 ...
"THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM"

September 11, 1967 ... No game scheduled ... Tony Conigliaro took batting practice at Fenway Park against his brother Billy and was disappointed.  He then went into the outfield to shag fly balls for Billy and then got into the cage once more.  He has no pain and no dizzy spells, but his vision remains blurry. He was not ready to come back.
