October 10, 1967 ... No game scheduled ... The Red Sox had a two hour batting practice that started around 11AM. Afterward they did press interviews and opened their mail.

Reggie Smith and Bobby Tolan played each other in high school.  Both are from the Los Angeles area.

The Boston Patriots were supposed to play against Miami at Fenway Park on Sunday, but they will have to play at B.C.'s Alumni Stadium instead because the park will not have time to convert it for football.
