Hill was dominant in the Red Sox’s 7-0 win over the Baltimore Orioles, but it
was Mookie Betts who put the finishing touches on the left-hander’s complete
game shutout. The outfielder has been playing in right field for only a week,
but he made a highlight-reel catch to end the game.
In the top of the ninth inning Orioles first baseman Chris Davis stepped to the
plate against Hill and Baltimore down to its final out. Davis crushed a hanging
breaking ball to right field, but Betts was there to save the day and the
shutout. |
