DOUG NOTT   B

Doug Nott. was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 14, 1911 and attended Ann Arbor High School where he won varsity letters in football, basketball, baseball and swimming .

He played college football at the University of Detroit from 1932 to 1934. His 1,092 passing yards led the NCAA major college players established a new national record.

After college Doug played professional football for the Detroit Lions in 1935 before he was traded to the Boston Redskins. With the Redskins, he played in four games and rushed for 95 yards. He also threw seven passes good for 134 yards, with three interceptions.

After football, he later worked in the labor relations department of the Ford Motor Company

Doug Nott was inducted into the University of Detroit Titans Hall of Fame in 1980 and passed away on May 25, 1991, at age 79, at his home in Walled Lake, Michigan.
