HAL CRISLER   E

Hal Crisler was born on December 21, 1923 in Richmond, CA and attended Richmond High School, where he played football and basketball. After graduation he attended San Jose State University and then Iowa State.

He played offensive and defensive end in 1946 and 1947 for the Boston Yanks. In 1946 he caught 32 passes for 385 yards and scored 5 touchdowns. In 1947 he caught 25 passes for 363 yards with two touchdowns.

In 1948 he was traded to the Washington Redskins and played there for two years, before finishing his pro career with the Baltimore Colts in 1950. For his career he caught 135 passed for 2042 yards and scored 22 touchdowns.

He also played basketball for four games for the Boston Celtics in 1946.

Hal Crisler passed away on November 2, 1987 at age 63, in Santa Clara, CA.
