NICK SCOLLARD   E

Nick Scollard was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 3, 1920. He played for Central Catholic High School.

After graduation he went on to play for the St. Joseph's College in Indiana and graduated in 1941 and was inducted into their Sports Hall of Fame in 1969.

During World War II he served in the Army Air Force.

He was taken in the second round by the Boston Yanks in the 1946 NFL Draft and played end for them from 1946 thru 1948. He finished his pro career playing in New York for the Bulldogs in 1949 and the Montreal Alouettes in 1950.

With the Yanks he had 120 receiving yards and one touchdown. With New York he had 201 receiving yards.

Nick Scollard passed away in January, 1985, at age 64, in Indianapolis.
