FOOTBALL AT FENWAY
November 22, 1941 ... A 95 yard runback by Butch Kissell on the opening kickoff set the tone as the Eagles scored all their 19 points within the first seven minutes against the Terriers at Fenway Park. Less than three minutes later the Eagles took possession on the B.U. 43-yd line. The last 29 yards were gobbled up by Frank Maznicki. The hand on the bleacher clock was just moving past seven minutes when Wally Boudreau directed the Eagles on a 69 yard parade toward the end zone with Maznicki again putting on the final touch. Not until the second half did B.U.'s Walt Williams score on a 14 yard run, to make the score 19-7. |
