“DIARY OF A WINNER”

ROBERT LEE HEDGES,
ST. LOUIS BROWNS

WORLD CHAMPS AGAIN

May 14, 1915 ... No game scheduled.  Bill Carrigan had his troops at the ballpark for two hour of strenuous work, especially on hitting and offense.  Every pitcher on the team had a chance to warm up and all left the field as weary as if they had played an extra inning ball game.  St. Louis Browns president Robert Lee Hedges met with Joe Lannin today about making a deal for a player.  He was very interested in Hal Janvrin  with some interest in Olaf Henriksen.  He could not offer the Red Sox anything they need and left without any work accomplished.
