WORLD CHAMPS AGAIN

 August 31, 1915 ... No game scheduled ... The Red Sox arrived in Philadelphia today at 4PM and several Red Sox players went to the ballpark to watch the Phillies play the Cardinals.  The arrived at the second inning of the second game and left during the seventh.  The Sox will open up a four game series and the Thursday game will benefit the local children's hospital.

The Tigers beat the White Sox 9 to 8, behind a clutch single in the eight inning by Ty Cobb.
